Jennifer Rodley

Welcome

Thanks for stopping by. My name is Jennifer Rodley and I have just finished a PhD at the University of Leeds.

After careers in financial services and university administration, I decided to follow my passion for Earth sciences and became a full-time undergraduate student. I left university with a first-class honours degree to intern at the British Geological Survey, only to return a year later to start a PhD in geochemistry.

For the last four years I have been investigating the ways that molybdenum becomes locked in marine sediments in environments with differing chemical conditions. By understanding these processes, I hope to be able to shed light on the chemistry of the Earth’s oceans in the past. Watch this space!
